Our Monmouth laminar flow cabinets provide ISO Class 4 clean-air protection using easy-change EU4 pre-filters and ULPA filters (99.997% efficient at 0.12µm), both supplied as standard. Available in horizontal or vertical airflow and four widths (1000–1800mm), they are ideal for product contamination-sensitive processes in pharmaceutical, academic and research environments.

Horizontal flow models project filtered air from rear to front, creating positive pressure that protects samples during media preparation, electronics inspection and device assembly. With no front sash, users benefit from unrestricted access, reduced turbulence and cleaner handling with hands downstream of the sample. It is recommended that operators wear goggles to avoid dry eyes. A grade-316 stainless steel work surface is included for added hygiene.

Vertical flow models deliver a downward air curtain that protects tissue culture, sterile compounding, optical work and forensic applications. The sash acts as a physical barrier, while the compact footprint and top-mounted filters simplify benchtop use and maintenance. Constructed from welded mild steel with a tough powder-coated finish for chemical resistance and easy cleaning. The Visionaire® touchscreen provides real-time airflow visibility, fan speed control and filter life alerts. Prefilters should be replaced every 3–6 months, ULPA filters should be checked every 12–14 months, in accordance with COSHH regulations. Regular servicing (also sold separately) should be carried out in line with these requirements. Additional features include an eco mode, dimmable LED lighting, optional UV light and night door.
