Reboot for our Bootracks
13 June 2019 11:33:41 BSTLast year we redesigned our boot racks to reduce dirt traps, and you gave us some really positive feedback (thank you!). But some of you also challenged us to go bigger and better…
You asked if we could add another row of prongs to our boot racks to give you extra capacity. We obliged (of course), and set to work designing a taller version. As per the refreshed design, we constructed the curved prongs from one continuous, crevice-free piece of stainless steel.
That was the first step taken care of, but we also saw another improvement we could make to the cleaning process. We designed out the bar across the front of the rack, creating a simpler frame, while ensuring the whole structure remained as strong as it needed to be to hold a full load – up to 36 pairs of boots.
The result is a sturdy, yet lightweight rack that makes good use of otherwise wasted space. Boots are still positioned for an easy clean, and the rack itself has even fewer dirt traps than before.
This new, taller rack is available in wall mounted, free standing or mobile – see our shoe and boot rack page for all designs.
STOP PRESS: We’ll soon be launching lockable boot racks, so keep an eye on the blog for more info!
